Watertable
Watertable, located at the bottom of the masonry, gives a solid
base to begin brick work from. Masonry joints at the ground level
are minimized, creating the best masonry moisture barriers.
- Create
a break from the ground to the masonry
- Often
used as a 12-24 high system that can incorporate sills when
passing under ground floor windows
- A
great enhancement when accompanied with a bull nose or other unique
designs to give the building its own character from the
ground up
- Date
stones are also common additions to the watertable stones
- Allows
for a clean, enhanced look along lines or plantings
